ACS SA & NT State and Territory Awards

On Thursday June 17th ACS SA & NT hosted the State and Territory Awards ceremony.  An enjoyable evening was had by all who attended, and it was particularly pleasing to see the response from the 2010 winners. ACS is looking forward to working with providers to enhance the awards in future years.  Congratulations to the winners in each category.       

State and Territory Winners Announced!

2010 Volunteer Award	Cosmo Camporeale, Associazione Nazionale Famiglie Degli Emigrati Inc (ANFE) - a highly revered volunteer within the Italian and wider community for 52 years
2010 Media Award	Life Care – Churches of Christ for their new corporate identity and 'Live every day' campign
2010 Industry Supporter Award	Combined Charities Incorporated assisting aged care facilities with their strategic procurement decisions
2010 Employee Award	Carol Elliott, Barunga Village Inc, an enrolled nurse who has inspired other staff by her commitment to professional development and residents.
2010 Design Award	James Brown Memorial Trust for Mansfield Park Affordable Housing (James and Jessie Brown Cottages
2010 Organisation Award	Barunga Village Incorporated, providing high-quality facilities, friendly, professional care and a dynamic and fulfilling lifestyle

The ACS SA & NT State and Territory Awards recognise the excellence and dedication of those who work in the aged and community care sector in South Australia and the Northern Territory.

The winner of each category (excluding the Design Award) will represent South Australia in the ACSA National Awards, to be announced at this year's ACSA National Conference in Tasmania in September.
