National Housing & Retirement Living Advisory Committee - The ACSA National Housing & Retirement Living Advisory Committee has been convened to focus on the wide range of issues in the provision of suitable, affordable and accessible housing and accommodation (including retirement villages) for older people, younger people with disabilities and their carers.

The Committee will:

Scope and develop a framework for industry policy and action on housing options and related urban planning issues.
Provide advice and address planning and development issues with Local Government.
Lobby for affordable and suitable housing for older people, including the issue of homeless people.
Provide advice on retirement living and housing, and service planning.
Develop the ACSA role and profile in representing retirement living service providers.
Provide information on Retirement living and lifestyle in Retirement Villages for consumers.
