Welcome to new CEO for ACS SA & NT

I am delighted to announce that following a thorough recruitment process the ACS SA & NT Board have appointed Melissa Centofanti to the position of Chief Executive Officer, ACS SA & NT, transitioning to Divisional CEO ACSA, commencing today Monday 9 May 2016.

Melissa has held a number of senior roles in state government and in the not for profit sector. She has previously demonstrated her strong interest in the industry through working in the Office for the Ageing as a General Manager. Melissa’s experience and knowledge is a great strength. Melissa demonstrated wide experience in governance and with working with Boards and Committees at all levels, including Ministerial. Her leadership and management experience is sound; she has experience leading change and demonstrated to the panel consultative, collaborative communication skills along with experience managing large budgets. Melissa’s knowledge of the aged care system and networks are strong and she displays a positive, can-do approach which will be important as we move through transition.

Melissa has not for profit experience, with her most recent position being in the Mental Illness Fellowship South Australia. Prior to this role Melissa was General Manager, Office for The Ageing, SA Health and has also held the position of Business Manager, Department Families and Communities. Melissa’s qualifications include Business Management and Industrial Psychology.
